S.G. Consulting was established in 1996. It is owned and operated by
M.B. Supergirl, MPH. With a combination of her education and work experience
as a public school teacher and administrator in non-profit management,
Supergirl has become an expert consultant to a wide variety of non-profit
organizations, in developing professional community-based programs,
writing winning proposals and effective evaluation/survey design.
She is the original author of such popular programs as the Badgirl
Intervention Program (BIP), which continues to receive statewide recognition
from the Office of Empowerment & Planning, the legal profession,
parents, and school districts served by the program.
On the opposite end of the non-profit spectrum, she is responsible
for leading the establishment and production of the very successful
Supergirl Film Festival in 2000. Her empowerment experience spans hundreds
of funded proposals including foundation, city, county, corporate and
million-dollar state and federal applications. She is also an advocate
and state-wide evaluator for schools and the Arts. Her evaluation experience
also spans many social service programs, public health, and survey research
targeting small businesses and corporations.
Today, Supergirl assists organizations with evaluation, research and provides
empowerment workshops. Through her renowned seminars, Supergirl continues
to teach others the secrets of successful prospect research and empowerment. She works with many non-profit organizations, schools, public
health agencies, corporations, law enforcement, arts organizations,
civic departments and other community groups.
