A construction contractor from Brooklyn becomes an impassioned animal activist. Eddie Lama tells how he feared and avoided animals until the love of a kitten opened his heart. He takes his crusade to the streets in an innovative way, showing the shocking realities of the meat and fur industries. Sarah McLachlan’s music adds poignancy. Note: strong imagery.
