Accidental Hero - Room 408

Tommie Lindsey teaches public speaking in a blue-collar community south of Oakland, California. Many of the students on his debating team will be the first in their families to finish high school or go on to college. Lindsey deliberately chooses speeches that encourage his students to draw on their strongest feelings. Their spellbinding performances win awards in competitions usually dominated by upper-class, private schools.
