The theme for Ojai Film Festival 2000 - Horizons Lost and Found ... Enriching the Human Spirit Through Film - was inspired by Frank Capra's 1937 classic "Lost Horizon." As a tribute, there will be a free community screening in Libbey Bowl of a newly restored print that contains additional archival footage and a completely re-mastered score. Opening
night of the Festival features music and food concessions starting at
4:00 p.m. at Libbey Park, Ojai Lions Club will be serving their famous
barbecue and the Vedic Association will feature vegetarian dishes. Our
welcoming ceremony will commence at 5:15 pm followed by a sneak preview
of a currently-in-production documentary, "The Search for the Real
Shangri-La".
